We understand that generalisation when considering your needs as a customer is not appropriate. Therefore, when it comes to the logistics of getting your new car to you or vice versa, everyone's needs and requirements are different, so we have three very simple choices to accommodate you.
1. Customer Collection.
We invite you to fly out to Germany to collect your new car. We will give you a pre-determined time and date to collect your car from the dealer. We'll arrange for the temporary transit plates are on the car and arrange the registration upon your return. This way you are in complete control of the costs incurred.
2. Transported Delivery.
With this option, your new car will be collected by our transport company and shipped across to the UK where we will register the car for you on it's arrival into the UK. Please note that timings and availability depend on the logistics of our transport company, during busy periods it could take weeks rather than days to collect the car from the dealer, we shall keep you informed if you choose this option.
3. Driven Delivery.
If you choose this option, we shall fly out one of our representatives to the dealership in Germany to collect the car. He will inspect the car fully and drive the car to the port and catch a ferry back to the UK where he will drive directly to your door or pre-determined address, maybe your office and hand over your car to you. This option will take up to three days, depending on travel timings and is the most comprehensive service available. Prices for this service usually costs an average of around Euro 1,500.
American Cars - Shipping and Delivery
Once you have placed your order for an American car and paid in full, your car will be shipped from the US port. Shipping normally takes 2-4 weeks depending on the car and time of year.
Once in the UK, the car has to clear customs and is then transported to the SVA test centre, where the SVA test and minor conversions will be carried out. Once the car has been approved, it has to be registered which can take 7-10 days. Please see the registration page for further details.
From the point of order, it can take up to 6 weeks for the car to arrive with you. This is only an average estimate, some take longer, some are quicker, but be prepared for at least a 6-8 week wait.
Specialist Cars - Delivery & Collection
In some cases, you are able to visit the factory to collect a Prestige or Sports car, or similar. The transaction for Supercars is completed slightly differently.
When you have decided to purchase a supercar, Pagani, Koenigsegg, Bugatti, Ferrari Enzo etc, due to the nature of the car, we shall ask for a 10% deposit to be put in an Escrow account. Once this has been done, we will arrange a viewing. When you are happy to go ahead with the purchase, we expect an electronic bank transfer to be completed. When the funds have cleared, the car is yours. Of course, we are on hand to arrange shipping on request.
